Our Mission Statement:
The Madison County Juvenile Probation Department encompasses Formal and Informal Probation, Misdemeanor Probation and Diversion Services. Our Core Services also include: Drug Court, JMP Court, Community Service, Not On Tobacco and Shortstop/Stopshort of Addiction programs. In addition we offer/refer many other educational, prevention, and treatment based services through coordination with public and private agencies.
Juvenile probation is a structured and restrictive public effort designed to assist in changing and improving the behaviors of adjudicated youth. Our mission is to:
1. Protect the community from deliquency and crimes.
2. Impose accountability for crimes committed.
3. Teach youth required competencies that will enable them to live productively and responsibly within the community.
