Solid Waste-Waste Tech

Employee performs a variety of waste management duties as needed to receive and process materials deposited at the Solid Waste transfer facility or landfill.

Main Duties:

Direct traffic and unloading activities at the solid waste transfer facility and C&D site.

Monitor receiving and segregation of material provide information concerning disposal of acceptable and unacceptable sold waste.

Operate heavy equipment to push and compact waste shipment to the sanitary landfill, may also perform maintenance on assigned equipment.

Perform cleaning and maintenance of work areas perform winter operation duties including snow removal.

Education & Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent required. CDL is preferred but not required.

Salary and Benefits:

This is a full-time position 40 hours/week

Starting at $17-$20/ hr Depending on CDL

PTO, PERSI Retirement, Insurances as offered
