NOTICE OF PUBLIC AUCTION SALE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 4, 2021 at 9:00a.m., the Madison County Commissioners will be holding an auction to sell tax-deeded properties in the Commissioners’ Hearing Room at the Madison County Courthouse, 159 E Main, Rexburg, Idaho 83440.
Tax-deeded properties are sold “as-is, where-is” and no guarantees, expressed or implied, are made as to the condition of the properties, potential liens or other issues regarding the properties.
A list of properties may be obtained at the Treasurer’s Office at 134 E Main in Rexburg. If you have any questions, please contact the Treasurer’s Office at 208-359-6264. The tax parcel numbers, legal descriptions, addresses, and minimum bid amounts are provided below. Further information may be found on the county website at co.madison.id.us.

9:00 Public Hearing: For fiscal year 2020-2021 budget hearing for Madison County, Ambulance District and Mosquito District. This budget hearing is for the purpose of considering and fixing a final budget and making appropriations to each office, department, service agency, institution and funds for the 2020-2021 fiscal year, at which time any taxpayer may appear and be heard.
The Madison County Commissioners will also adjust the 2019-2020 budget as previously adopted to reflect the receipt of unscheduled revenues, grants or donations from Federal State or Local Governments or private sources; however, there will be no increase in property taxes with this adjustment.
The public hearing will also include a discussion and approval of Resolution #449 to receive the forgone levy amounts for fiscal year 2021 for potential use in subsequent years as described in Idaho Code § 63-802 et al. This amount is $379,879 in current expenses and $8,977 to the ambulance district.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Madison County Board of County Commissioners at or after the hour of 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021, in the Madison County Commissioner Room, 159 East Main, Rexburg Idaho 83440, regarding the request to consider potential modifications to the Madison County DMV Department Fee Schedule.
It is proposed that the Madison County DMV fee schedule be modified to reflect the fees for vehicle transactions be increased from $4 to $6. The fee has not increased since 2007.
Madison County DMV proposes the above described fee modifications to be approved. At such hearing, the Madison County Board of County Commissioners will hear all persons for, against, and neutral to such proposed fee schedule modifications.
