AMENDED NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
RE: PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR COPPER HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commission at or after the hour of 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday April 28, 2021, in the Madison County Commissioner Room, 159 E Main, Rexburg Idaho, 83440, regarding the request to consider the preliminary plat proposed by Copper Heights Subdivision on a property owned by Elevation Management LLC.
The proposed Copper Heights Subdivision is situated in the State of Idaho, County of Madison, being part of section 14, township 6 North, Range 39 East, of B.M., and consists of approximately 65.12 acres of land, with 62 proposed lots. This property is more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING AT THE NORTH ¼ CORNER OF SAID SECTION 14; THENCE SOUTH 00°26'37" EAST, A DISTANCE OF 1,316.73 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE SOUTH 89°48'32" WEST, A DISTANCE OF 2,621.30 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE NORTH 00°23'35" WEST, A DISTANCE OF 327.09 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE NORTH 89°36'25" EAST, A DISTANCE OF 175.00 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE NORTH 00°23'35" WEST, A DISTANCE OF 168.00 FEET TO A POINT;THENCE CONTINUING NORTH 00°23'35" WEST ALONG SAID LINE, A DISTANCE OF 301.55 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE NORTH 89°36'25" EAST, A DISTANCE OF 342.08 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE NORTH 00°04'25" WEST, A DISTANCE OF 273.58 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE NORTH 00°04'25" WEST, A DISTANCE OF 8.98 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE NORTH 89°55'35" EAST, A DISTANCE OF 299.04 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE NORTH 00°04'25" WEST, A DISTANCE OF 240.00 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE NORTH 89°55'35" EAST, A DISTANCE OF 745.12 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE SOUTH 00°04'25" EAST, A DISTANCE OF 370.00 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE NORTH 89°55'35" EAST, A DISTANCE OF 528.00 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE NORTH 00°04'25" WEST, A DISTANCE OF 370.00 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE NORTH 89°55'35" EAST, A DISTANCE OF 528.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING, CONTAINING 65.12 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS.
The applicants are proposing that they receive preliminary approval for the above described land to be subdivided, as defined in Madison County Subdivision Ordinance, Chapter 115, et seq. At such hearing the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commission will hear all persons for, against, and neutral for such preliminary plat for the subdivision.
Written comment is encouraged, and will be accepted in regards to this proposal no later than Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 4:30 p.m., in the Madison County Planning and Zoning Office, Room 208, located at 134 East main, Rexburg Idaho, 83440.
