REGARDING PROPOSED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP CHANGE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commission at or after the hour of 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, in the Madison County Commissioner Room, 159 East Main, Rexburg, Idaho, 83440, regarding the proposed comprehensive plan map changes from Ag Land and Rural Cluster to a Rural Cluster land use designation on property owned by WJ Bar LLC.

Situated in the state of Idaho, county of Madison, being part of Section 26 & 27, Township 5 North, Range 39 East, of B.M., consisting of approximately 39 acres, being more particularly described as follows:

It is proposed that the above parcel’s comprehensive plan map be changed, as defined in Madison County Comprehensive Plan contained in Resolution No. 318, and Madison County Code Book, Part II, Unified Development Code, Chapter 102, Section 102-1, et seq., regarding factors to consider in changing the comprehensive plan, from the parcel’s land designations of Ag Land and Rural Cluster to a Rural Cluster land use designation.

 

At such hearing the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commission will hear all persons, commends and recommendations relative to such proposed comprehensive plan map changes as set forth herein.

 

Written comments are strongly encouraged, as limited seating is available. Written Correspondence will be accepted in regard to this proposal no later than Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. at the Madison County Planning and Zoning Office, 134 E Main, Suite 208, Rexburg, Idaho 83440.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

REGARDING THE REQUEST TO AMMEND THE PLAT OF STEINER SUBDIVISION INSTRUMENT NO. 150859

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commission at or after the hour of 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday February 10, 2021 in the Madison County Commissioner Room, 159 East Main, Rexburg Idaho 83440, regarding the request to amend the plat of Steiner Subdivision Plat.

The Steiner Subdivision is located approximately NE4 of section 22; T6N; R39E; B.M.; Madison County, Idaho, and consists of approximately 13.24 acres. The Subdivision is more particularly described as follows:  

S. 80° 38’ 30” E 315.07’ THENCE S. 03° 28’ 30” E 320.18” TO A POINT ON A CURVE WITH A RADIUS OF 613.63 FT; THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY AROUND SIAD CURVE TO THE LEFT A DISTANCE OF 94.90 FT; THENCE S12°47’30” E 249.16’ TO A POINT ON A CURVE WITH A RADIUS OF 508.97 FT.; THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY AROUND SAID CURVE TO THE LEFT A DISTANCE OF 93.8 FT.; THENCE S. 24° 00’ 46”E. 260.79’ TO A POINT ON A CURVE WITH A RADIUS OF 259.29 FT.; THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY AROUND SAID CURVE TO THE RIGHT A DISTANCE OF 98.79 FT.; THENCE S. 02° 11’E 242.66’; THENCE N. 89° 38’ 30’ W. 582.25’; THENCE N. 00° 31’ 15” W. 1320.00’ TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.

The applicants, Steve and Sharon Oakey, are proposing that they receive approval to amend the abovementioned plat by dividing lot 10 which is approximately 1.3 acres to create an 11th lot. It is proposed that this one additional lot be added to the Steiner Subdivision with no change in its original acreage of 13.24 acres.  This hearing will be an amendment to a prior plat pursuant Madison County Zoning Ordinance §117-20, and Idaho Code § 67-6509 et seq.

At such hearing, the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commission will hear all persons for, against, and neutral for the requested subdivision amendment.

Written comment is preferred and will be accepted in regard to this proposal no later than Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. at the Madison County Planning and Zoning Office, 134 East Main, Suite 208, Rexburg, Idaho 83440.
