9:00 Public Hearing: For fiscal year 2020-2021 budget hearing for Madison County, Ambulance District and Mosquito District. This budget hearing is for the purpose of considering and fixing a final budget and making appropriations to each office, department, service agency, institution and funds for the 2020-2021 fiscal year, at which time any taxpayer may appear and be heard.
The Madison County Commissioners will also adjust the 2019-2020 budget as previously adopted to reflect the receipt of unscheduled revenues, grants or donations from Federal State or Local Governments or private sources; however, there will be no increase in property taxes with this adjustment.
The public hearing will also include a discussion and approval of Resolution #449 to receive the forgone levy amounts for fiscal year 2021 for potential use in subsequent years as described in Idaho Code § 63-802 et al. This amount is $379,879 in current expenses and $8,977 to the ambulance district.
