With the increase in new users out there, keep in mind that the grooming reflects your program. Divots should be filled in, try and avoid plowing the trail and creating high banks that get extremely hard to hit as well climb out of, clear trees, and try to avoid man made hazards in the trails. As well if you have a trail that maybe hard to find for folks, place snow poles in the trail to mark it.
A lot of these new users expect to look across a clearing and see the trail, if it is windblown those folks won't have any idea where the trail is. Keep in mind that the trails should be marked well enough to keep the least educated person moving forward and comfortable in their experience.
All groomer operator accidents should be remedied to the best of their ability for rider safety. Big holes, or divots should be filled, big high banks where the trail has been plowed should be knocked down or smoothed out, and places were the drag has gone off the trail and dumped a big pile of snow in the trail should be smoothed out.
In places in the dry farms the only way we got across is with GPS and recognizing the grass on the edge of the roads and in places following a fence hoping and understanding that would make sense. Once back in the trees back on the trail.
I appreciate everyone's hard work, and please do not hesitate to contact me for help or anything else involving the program.
