NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Regarding proposed Zone Change
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commission at or after the hour of 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2020, in the Madison County Commissioner Room, 159 East Main, Rexburg Idaho 83440, regarding a proposed zone change from an Agriculture and Transitional Agriculture zones to a Transitional Agriculture Zone on property owned by Cindy F. Andrus, located approximately at 7204 S. 2000 W., Rexburg, Idaho, on approximately 5.9 acres. The property is further described as follows:
BEGINNING AT A POINT THAT IS NORTH 89°46’59” WEST 3244.16 FEET ALONG THE NORTH SECTION LINE AND SOUTH 0°53’57” EAST 933.34 FEET FROM THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 5 NORTH, RANGE 39 EAST, BOISE MERIDIAN, MADISON COUNTY, IDAHO SAID POINT OF BEGINNING IS ON THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF THE ARCHER-LYMAN HIGHWAY; AND RUNNING THENCE SOUTH 88°03’57” EAST 572.31 FEET MORE OR LESS TO THE EAST BANK OF THE REID CANAL; THENCE SOUTHWESTERLY ALONG THE EAST BANK OF THE REID CANAL APP. 381.5 FEET; THENCE NORTH 89°07’12” WEST APP. 620 FEET TO THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF THE ARCHER-LYMAN HIGHWAY; THENCE NORTH 381.5 FEET MORE OR LESS TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
The applicant is proposing that the above parcel’s zone be changed from an Agriculture and Transitional Agriculture zones to a Transitional Agriculture Zone per the Madison County Unified Development Code, Part II, Chapter 117 et seq.
At such hearing the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and recommendations relative to such proposed zone change from an Agriculture and Transitional Agriculture zones to a Transitional Agriculture Zone.
Written comments will be accepted in regards to this proposal no later than Wednesday February 19, 2020 at 4:30 P. M. at the Madison County Planning and Zoning Office, 134 East Main, Suite 208, Rexburg, Idaho 83440. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commission at or after the hour of 6:30 p.m. on Thursday February 27, 2020, in the Madison County Commissioner Room, 159 East Main, Rexburg Idaho 83440, regarding a proposed Comprehensive Plan Map change on property owned by Cindy F. Andrus located approximately at 7204 S 2000 W Rexburg Idaho on approximately 5.9 acres. The property is further described as follows:

The applicant is proposing that the above parcel’s comprehensive land use designation be changed from Rural Cluster and Agriculture to Rural Cluster per the Madison County Unified Development Code, and the Madison County Comprehensive Plan contained in Resolution No. 318 et seq.
It is proposed that the above parcel’s comprehensive plan map be changed, as defined in Madison County Comprehensive Plan contained in Resolution No. 318, and Madison County Code Book, Part II, Unified Development Code, Chapter 102, Section 102-1, et seq., regarding factors to consider in changing the comprehensive plan.
At such hearings the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and recommendations relative to such proposed Comprehensive Plan change from Rural Cluster and Agriculture to Rural Cluster. Written comment will be accepted in regards to this proposal no later than Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. at the Madison County Planning and Zoning office, Suite 208, 134 East Main Street, Rexburg, Idaho 83440.
This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Sections 67-6509, 67-6511, Idaho Code, and all amendments thereof.
