NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Re: Potential modifications to Chapter 101, Article IV, Administrative Permits; Chapter 101, Article 101-I, Section 101-2 Definitions; and Chapter 115 Subdivisions in the Madison County Unified Development Code.

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commission at or after the hour of 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at the Madison County Commissioner’s room, located at the Madison County Courthouse, 159 E Main, Rexburg, Idaho 83440, regarding potentially modifying Chapter 101, Article IV, Administrative Permits, Chapter 101, Article I, Section 101-2, Definitions, and Chapter 115  Subdivisions in the Madison County Unified Development Code, to add in a small-scale development, or short plat, process.

 

Currently, per Madison County Unified Development Code, Chapter 101, Article IV, Administrative permits allows for any lot split up to four (4).  The addition of the small-scale development process will allow for any lot split to take place under the administrative permit with the requirement of a plat map for developments no smaller than five (5) buildable lots, and no larger than eight (8) buildable lots.

 

This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of §§ 67-6509, 67-6511, Idaho Code, and all amendments thereof.

 

Written comment will be accepted in regards to this proposal no later than Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. at the Madison County Planning and Zoning Office, 134 E. Main Suite 208, Rexburg Idaho, 83440. The public is invited to attend, and public comment is encouraged.
